I worked for Italian News in the 50’s. I remember Bob, reporter Frank Bucci and linotype operator Gabriel. Those were the good old days in the North End. The Italian News was owned by City Councillor Gab Piemonte.
I remember the Italian news office very well. it was above the carwash (also owned by gabe) on the corner of commercial street and the Charlestown bridge. I worked there in the 50’s.
